Hi, I have had this issue for a LONG time, I had it back when I had Elementary OS and moved to Ubuntu a year ago and it was still there. When you put the laptop to sleep, wake it up and then select area of a screen, when you press enter the app is pretty much frozen except that Linux doesn't seem to recognise this. So I had to force shutdown my laptop everytime. But recently I realised that I can switch desktops and force close it from System monitor. But this gets annoying as everytime I resume from sleep, I have to remember to exit screencloud and open it back up so that it doesn't freeze next time I take a screenshot of an area. I haven't tasted taking a fullscreen one though.
Edit: This is not laptop specific or at least hardware as I have switched between laptops and this issue occurs on both. The other one actually has Kubuntu on it and the same happens. Although they are both Asus laptops, older one with a corei5 + gt720m and the other with a corei7 and a gt 940m if that helps. Although I have turned off the gpu at least on the new one from the nvidia control panel and only using the integrated chipset.
Thanks, Anesu
