I jjust replied to your issue on arduinos git but hadnt realized all you had done! I also had sniffed the i2c (i have a fx2 i use in sigrock but prefer my teensy for i2c sniffing but same diff) came up with same as you, i believe later on i had found a few more i2c/pmic commands for cleaning 3v etc in the arduino code that i added but in the end when testing in libopencm3 and tinyusb with hal i had strange issues that seemed random (at least could.never find a cause) and they happened in different firmwares in diff libs/hals/drivers the same way. I havent used my portenta much after that and it was a wjile ago soni dont remember the details. I kknow one of the issues was visible in just one of the rgb colors, dont remember which color or what the issue was maybe couldnt get it up.to full voltage something like that. And the others ive totally forgoten but these issues with same firmwares disappeared with arduinos bootloader back on board and. Ld file edited and vector added to first line in main. So i assumed sum smaller piece i had missed fell thru the cracks and was causing them. And kinda moved on to other things. Have you noticed any one in a while strangeness you couldnt explain? Until i find a non hal lib with usb vendor and interrupt endpoint support i think im gonna bench it. So sad. Great work thonthis was amazing read!
