I got Suqahs as a task from Nieve and used +as

It was using ranged combat style, and said my magic defense was -3 out of 256, when in reality my ranged gear preset's magic defense is 106.

Would attach screenshot but doesn't seem to let me on mobile.

Suqah's are set to always look at your melee gear. Your magic defense was -3 in your melee gear.
