Currently when a new update goes live its up to the user to actually check the #news channels,

My suggestion is that when a new news post is published, the next time you send a command the bot should respond with an extra message underneath, saying “There was an update recently, you can read about it here: …”

Similar to logging into OSRS on update day, not too intrusive and edges people to actually read about them

Maybe this could need a news page on the wiki which it links to? Open to adding that too if you want

Also! If possible, when first interacted with in an external server, check for what channel is subscribed to the OSB/Bso news feed, then hyperlink that instead.
