Search function not working #501

After adding some custom components, search is not functional on Safari and Edge browsers on mobile. Tried placing components (Disqus and theme light and dark mode switcher) in other slots to see if that helps: it doesn't.

Are these things related to have this outcome?

On the Digital Garden I did not apply custom components, search works.

Actually, search function stops working on PC as well as note count increases.
This would be a much needed feature for larger sites. Is there a way to upscale performance, I wonder.

Interestingly, when browsing the site within Obsidian using the Surfing plugin, search works. Is it something about the user agent? I tried Firefox and Chrome afterwards, but got nothing. Strange.
