boot from sd #4

Hello, i know that opening issue on 11 year old repo is strange, but...

i got a rk3066 based device ( Kimdecent B13 ). - RTL8188EUS

SOC: RK3066 RAM: ELPIDA 5DJ2108DEBG-DF-F ( 4 chips ) NAND: HYNIX H27UCG8T2BTR WIFI&BT: REALTEK RTL8188EUS CAMERA: GC2035 digital-analog mixed chip: RK1000-S PMIC? : texas instruments t659102 unknown: rda 6876a

how can i boot from sd, i burned linuxroot on a SD, but tv stick boots to android.

i read other issues, but i think that i got a strange bootloader

if i flash custom recovery ( like stock, but with changed build.prop ) it will drop to mask rom mode or even if i flash stock back, it will also drop to mask rom mode.

to fix it, im using update_tool on linux, and after flashing im going to recovery to flash rkimage.

I don't remember well... but you need to find a suitable kernel for your hardware (mine will not work). You need to build it and specify the root to the SD card (in the kernel parameters or in initramfs - is use it). Pack the resulting kernel and write it to NAND flash in place kernel or recovery
