Swap SEN54 to SEN55 #5

I wonder if it's possible to swap Sensirion SEN54 to SEN55. The question is, if Ikea's firmware support additional data from the sensor. Protocol is basically the same.

Exactly have the same question.... Considering order one and see. Any news from your side?

Ikea's firmware does not support the extra data. The firmware does not check the sensor type at startup to see what is attached. Also IKEA uses a version of the sen54 that is not publicly available.
