The purpose of this task is to demonstrate dynamic target identification and precise navigation. The vehicle enters the carousel of numbered items and circles the floating platform at least once. Upon reaching this obstacle, the vehicle request the carousel code (ex: ‘12’) to identify in between which items the vehicle must enter. The difficult part is not just to identify where the numbered items are but to enter the carousel and stay in between two items (ex: between the ‘1’ and the ‘2’) for a full rotation of the carousel. The correct carousel location changes each run and must be requested using the protocol defined in Appendix 4: Follow the Leader communication protocol.
