The purpose of this task is to demonstrate the ability to navigate back to the launch point without interacting with any obstacles. After having earned points on all mission challenges, the vehicle returns to the dock in autonomous mode. The vehicle avoids all obstacles and challenge equipment (buoys, floating docks, etc.) on its way back. The vehicle then comes to a full stop within six feet of the dock used to launch the vehicle. If a vehicle crosses through a different course on its way back, the run will be immediately terminated.
