4 years ago Simple folder search has a limited index. You shouldn't use simple folder search to serach large folders recursively. If you want to search large folders recursively then you should use the mdfind plugin on macOS the everyhing plugin on Windows.
Just been using ueli- its the Launchy replacement that I've been looking for. However, simple folder search seems inconsistent, it doesn't index all the sub directories in the folder path, and there isn't any consistency to which subdirectories it chooses to index.
