BORIS crashes when attempting to export events only from a specific project file #166

Hey Olivier,

Overview: I went through and started exporting my data as usual. I tried to export one of my scorer's files and hers will not export. All the other scorers' project files exported without issues.

Details: When selecting all events and attempting to export aggregated events as a .csv, .tsv, .xlsx, etc... BORIS brings up the loading wheel and then spontaneously crashes. It only occurs for one scorer's file. I cannot attach the file here due to regulations, however, I can send it to a private email to resolve the issue if you would like the file. It must stay on a password protected device.

System Specs: OS: Win10 64bit (Occurs on two separate PCs) BORIS Versions: 6.3.1 & 7.3.2 full install, not portable (Error occurs in both versions)

Update & Workaround I exported tabular events and BORIS crashed, but not before exporting the individual files up to a certain file number. I tried removing the next file in the list (the one after the last file that successfully exported) and this was successful as a workaround.

Hello,

thank you for the update. Have you identified the observation that crashes BORIS?

1) you can send me the BORIS project file by private email (see Contacts)

2) You can use the debug version of BORIS in order to report me the error that crashes BORIS. You will find it on the Download for Windows page, it is a portable version without installation. Please report me the content of the command prompt after the crash.

Thank you for your collaboration

Olivier
