Cannot see the video: Only plays audio #170

Hi,

I have a project with 2 observations and they were displaying correctly until a while ago. Now, I have been trying to edit one of the existing observations and the video does not show anymore. I only hear the audio when I try to navigate. I was able to edit them even a few hours ago. I have tried the encoding option for a new video file and it still has the same issue. The videos play fine with VLCC. I have added a screenshot of the issue.

OS: Windows 10 Boris Version: 7.4

Appreciate any help!

Hi, Did you fixed the problem deleting the .boris file?

Hi,

Actually, no. I am not sure how it got fixed. I did not delete the .boris file. I was trying out the same process of editing an observation and it suddenly seemed to work again. If the error recurs, do you suggest deleting that file?

Hi, i'm having the same problem here, i was working before and suddenly no video and only audio. i deleted the .boris file, but still no video.

windows 10 boris v 7.3

The pre-release of v.7.4.1 should fix this problem: https://github.com/olivierfriard/BORIS/releases/tag/v7.4.1

Sorry but I was not very precise in my previous comments... The .boris file is the BORIS configuration file NOT the BORIS project file.
