BORIS not loading Media video to do behavioral annotations

Every time I try to use the videos to do my behavioral annotations, it only shows a black screen even though on my google drive the video plays perfectly. Also, sometimes the program would just crash. I'm not sure if the video is too heavy? I've attached an image of what my screen looks like. Help is greatly appreciated!

What version of BORIS are you using? See how to report a bug on the BORIS web site. You should check in you video plays with VLC. If BORIS crashes you should send me the boris_error.log file

I am having this same issue using v. 7.10.5. My video plays with VLC, but does not show up in BORIS. Oddly, if I use the picture button, it takes a screenshot of my video, so it seems to be loading it but not actually showing it to me to allow annotating.

Hi, Unfortunately I have no physical Mac to try to reproduce this issue. Only a virtual machine that is not adapted to play video (no hardware acceleration). Try to re-encode/resize your video. See Tools

I'm using the latest version on my MAC and the video was converted to VLC before being uploaded to BORIS. The video is an hour long. I also tried to do it with a different computer and it still did the same thing.

We're seeing this same issue with BORIS 7.10.7 across multiple macs in our lab environment running 10.14.6 and 11.5.1. We've re-encoded the video using the internal tool within Boris and are able to watch the videos within VLC without any issue. I've placed both versions of the file in this google drive folder.
