Location language/tbx file? #1069

Good day all, I finished the translations for Dutch and downloaded the TBX file for it, but.. where do I put it so I can check the translations make sense? (Sometimes it's difficult to decide if 'character' means an actual letter or a person in the story, for instance.)

I'm not sure how you would work with a TBX file. You should actually have a TS file for each language. You could put that into a local copy from the repository (under i18n/) and run make i18n in the local repository to convert the TS files to QM files. These files will then be used by Manuskript if run from source for example.

Does this help?

Ehm, I used weblate to finish up the translations, and I didn't see other options to download anything else. If you or someone else can point me into the right direction, I'd appreciate that. I'm kind of new to weblate ;-)

Ok, so as long as the translations are done in Weblate, they will get merged before next release. I can probably do that earlier, so there would be time for you running it from source (once merged) and check whether the translations make sense in GUI.

Sounds like a plan, as long as you can give me some pointers on how to put that together. If it's a case of putting the files in .../i18n and running "make i18n" (or something like that, which I saw in the WIKI), that should work.

If I merge it from weblate, I already do the conversion step for all languages. So you won't need to do those steps from above but just run the main script under bin/manuskript via Python. I'll notify you once merged.

@paulkater The newest changes from Weblate are merged.

@TheJackiMonster Thanks, I already pulled the dev version and I'm looking at it. Going to take notes on the oopses and see that they get fixed. (First already spotted.)

Edit: I'm quite pleased with how good it already looks!
