Perl's DBI module supports named bind parameters instead of ordered ? marks. Is node-dbi trying to be like perl's DBI and would it be possible to have named bind parameters?
query: "SELECT count(*) as num_posters FROM posters WHERE uid < :UID;"
something like: fetchAll(query, { UID: 12 }, fn);
