the three buttons under the display:
1. contacts (logged calls are here too)
2. select account
3. free to choose (mute, call logs,...)

maybe the "cange to text mode, call, delete" buttons under the three buttons
- if i cange to text mode the these buttons are always shown on if the keypad
pops up.

on an active call i would change button 1,2 and 3
1. for mic off
2. for bluetooth
3. whatever

also add an button "Power Off" to deactive all connections (display off) but
not closing the app.
Archos has an "energy management" widget to turn on bluetooth, wlan.... and the
phone - maybe you can use it to power on/off csipsimple.

add a new indicator (csipsimple icon: white-no connection / black-connectet) in
the display if the prog is connectet to the internet.
(i take a look at the crash i had yesterday without internet connection
tomorrow)

same design for incoming calls
add "hang up" button to discard a incoming call

Interesting.

The "select account" tab correspond to the account setting list? I think that
the little popup window is nicest that a tab.
Besides, I think that it's not necessary to add a tab to configure accounts
since accounts list are just a configuration panel and will be accessed by
users only 2 or 3%of time. So accessing by menu is a good way. But the idea of
a widget to turn off/on accounts is really nice ! I'll keep it in mind :)

As for in call screen, I think that I'll keep this layout since it match
exactly the Froyo "in call" layout (the one that is displayed to users that
have GSM on their device). (That's the same for incoming calls).
You are probably not used to use it but to answer you slide the green "button"
to the right and to decline/discard you slide the red "button" to the left.
That's the way it's done in android phones.
So it's natural to users I think (however, there is already an option in
Settings > UI to use buttons accept/decline if you prefer).

Renamed issue to make things clearer.

I'll start by the very good idea of a widget on home screen. Other are just
cosmetic or design choices. (I try to keep things simple for now as for
ergonomic rules).
