In theory most of the stuff which is possible here should also be possible on Delphi units. The problem currently is the simple way in. We had some ideas but not finalised our thoughts so far.
So if I understand correctly, the unit doesn't install the toolbox properly or it's not possible to access any features at all, or just some of them? I'm mostly asking because I'm trying to upgrade my father's GPS maps, and the new 27GB update doesn't fit on the original 16GB card. It's a discover media Pro, but somehow it seems to be CID locked regardless, so with the aftermarket card it's not working.
I have a Delphi system, I'd be interested in assisting development if there's anything you'd like to test.

There is no such a thing like Discover Media Pro, but there is Discover Pro which is a Harman unit. In MIB2 world there are Discover Media units that can be either MIB STD2 PQ/ZR (Technisat/Preh) or MIB2 STD (Delphi). I beleive you talk here about the last one.
Maps for Discover Pro and Discover Media are different ones.
About 27GB map update - that big one is for Discover Pro where CID of the SD card does not matter and is not checked at all. On Discover Pro, maps are read from any regular SD card and are installed into internal memory of the unit and SD card can be removed. On Discover Media the story is different and it will not accept SD card that does not have special CID. Maps are not copied anywhere and maps remain on SD card all the time.
Maximum maps folder size for MIB STD2 PQ/ZR and MIB2 STD I have ever seen is 17Gb. So looks like you are trying to use maps for Harman on the Delphi unit that is not possible technically :)
If you want to know more internals how maps work on MIB2 STD / MIB STD2 PQ/ZR, you can check this topic https://github.com/olli991/mib-std2-pq-zr-toolbox/issues/26

That's what I expected as well, and everything goes fine with either writing the media on the new SD, or doing it with the volkswagen map software. But still, the system doesn't recognize the SD-card and says the files are not supported. Maybe I'm doing something else wrong then.

@olli991 Hi Olli, please let us know if toolbox will include soon the Delphi type
No Delphi to play with so no active development
Just found all of this yesterday, has anyway been found to get this working with a Delphi unit?
There is a patch for Delphi. Google for Congo Patch. No toolbox
Thank you 🤘🙌

Hello,
This project looks very impressive, but unfortunately I have the standard Delphi system. Would you be able to say if it's going to be available in the future? Or if not, what seems to be the complications with it?
Thank you !
