Dual navigation breaks carplay #357

Hey Guys,

I tried the Dual Navigation feature on my Dm Unit, but it's breaking carplay, in the sense that after connecting the phone the screen blacks out and stays like this. I created a video with the behavior.

Here's some info about the unit. IMG_4944

As soon as I disable the patch, carplay starts working properly again. Lemme know if you need further info.

Thanks for making this post, you saved my carplay. It was doing black screen carplay.

@IIPoliII I wasted a few weeks debugging why isn't working anymore, I also set up a testbench in the house because of suggestion that it's due to USB cable/slot...

I planned to simply use my android phone just for that. Still choosing between the two platforms. Thanks for the time you took to "fix" that and mainly to report it

In the blog of the author there is another alternative file for the patch. Maybe try out this one and it may be fixing your problem
