As some of you may have noticed, there has not been much activity with GuildenStern lately. I think that at this point it is fair to inform you, that I have been putting my efforts into designing and now implementing the next version. There will also be some breaking changes, but the annoyances will be worth the upgrade. Hang on...

There is now dev branch for 6.0.0 available. quite a rewrite, it was. Architecture should be stable, but I need to rewrite all documentation before it is publishable.
