i plan to have the rpi4 running Magic Mirror. my LCD panel is LM40SAMFHD700AG25WV. how can i have the rpi4 running 24/7 but only have the panel On when motion is detected? i understand the mirror's power supply board outputs 5v, 12, and 24v. are those outputs always On no matter if the panel is On or Off? if not always On, then i plan to tap into the 120v AC terminals, use a buck converter to step down to 5v for the rpi4. then install a relay onto the rpi4 to "flip" the switch to turn On the panel. Or is there a way for the RPI4 to control the panel via HDMI CEC?

using a multimeter, i confirmed the bad news. none of the DC output works unless the switch is flipped to ON to power up the back light. if i want the rpi to be on 24/7, i will need to tap into the 110v AC input cord and convert to 5v dc 3amps. i also plan to have an amplifier for the speakers. if i want to play music while the Smart mirror is Off, then i also need a 12v dc power supply for the amp.
any idea on how to have 1 AC cord going into the Mirror? the cord will power the power supply board for the mirror, power 5v dc for the rpi. and 12v dc for the amplifier?
