Animation isn't smooth #73

Actually there is no animation at all.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Hover

Atom version: 1.7.1 OS: ElementaryOS (Ubuntu 14.04)

If relevant: Atom theme: material-ui (even though it doesn't work on the default one either)

Same issue. There is no animation, at all, out of the box. Can't figure out how to activate animation. Default theme. Atom v1.13.0 x64. macOS Sierra v10.12.2.

Can confirm as well unlike the screenshot of the plugin, there is no animation by default on the latest stable version of Sierra and Atom.
