Fixed privilege tests #82

Thanks for this. The PR was a bit messy though, so I took the liberty to just pick out some of the commits and rewrite them a bit.

What matters though is that we got all the tests passing now. I also added a testing matrix to the Github CI action so that we can test all valid combinations of extensions
