Describe the bug Unread notifications appearing twice on firefox startup

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: (Make sure popups are enabled i think)

  1. Wait for notifications.
  2. Don't read them yet.
  3. Restart the browser.
  4. Observe the results.

Expected behavior Popup should only appear once.
