Fix markdownlint warnings, and highlight release-branch distinction. #27

I added some sample command to clone a release branch in case it's not clear.

Yep I forgot about that, or rather, I had remembered it as an issue, not a PR. I'll rebase this at some point since I think it still adds useful data
