Thanks for the correction. Can you check that it's legal to change the license at this point?

Your license is already MIT - this is just correcting the machine-readable definition in Cargo.toml. there's no actual license change

Also, nobody else has contributed code to the project yet, so any license change is legal since you own the copyrights to your own code. That said, this still isn't a license change as you already have an explicit LICENSE file that says MIT. :)
