Download stuck on LA Times #13

1. Installed shortyz, and ran full update, download stuck on LA Times and 1 more
2. Rebooted tablet, download still shows in task bar
3. Uninstalled shortyz, rebooted and download still shows in task bar
4. Installed a task killer, killed everything, rebooted, download still shows 
in task bar
5. re-installed shortyz, ran update, download still stuck in task bar

Version of shortyz is 3.0.3, running on Acer Iconia A500 running Android 3.0.1

All I want to do at this point is to kill this task.

Same issue, on Asus EEE Pad Transformer running Android 3.0.1

For reference, killing the Download Manager task seems to get rid of the 
notification
