Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.making a backup
2.restoring the backup
3.

What is the expected output?
all my original input restored

What do you see instead?
nothing restored, although Worktime displays "successfull restore of backup"

What version of the product are you using (check the about screen for the
version or version number)?
1.1.15

Please provide any additional information below.
phone: HTC Desire HD
I really liked the look and feel of the app, and proceeded to use it for a
specific job. Yesterday I had to reset my phone to the original settings. I
carefully made a Worktime backup on the SD-card and also emailed it to myself.
After re-installing Worktime I discovered restoring it didn't work, no input
was restored.
After testing (making up a test-project with tasks (project: "test" and tasks
"lijmen" and "schaven") and manually creating several time registrations,
backing all up and restoring) I found out -opening the *.bak file with Notepad-
the backup file did not contain any input of this test-project and tasks, see
the attached file. It does mention a "Houtwerk SC" project, which I created
14th of June, but restoring this backup does not even show this project.... It
seems all backups contain the same info, and do not restore properly.
What is going wrong?
Thank you, Michiel O.

Such a backup file can be opened with any SQLite browser.
I just tried that with the attached backup file and that resulted in empty
tables. I have no clue what exactly is wrong...
Will have to investigate that!
