Bio-Formats is a Java library for reading and writing data in life sciences image file formats. It is developed by the Open Microscopy Environment. Bio-Formats is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL); commercial licenses are available from Glencoe Software.
The files showing the issue ere acquired from Aperio VERSA slide scanner and when opened display as 'pink', which can be seen in the screenshots in the linked forum thread.
A sample file showing the problem was provided and the issue could be reproduced with Bio-Formats 7.2.0, it is available at inbox/imagesc-93502
