The current link (https://www.adobe.io/content/dam/udp/en/open/standards/tiff/TIFFPM6.pdf) is currently unavailable. For BF 6.9.0 we updated the TIFF spec to point to https://www.loc.gov/preservation/digital/formats/fdd/fdd000022.shtml, the link on that page to an archived version of the Adobe PageMaker 6.0 pdf is what I have used here.
