Mapr config is configurable using global web settings. That is inconvenient as on the system with many users each of them may wish to filter data based on different attributes. Mapr could have user configuration panel where user could define their prefs for top links and filtering attributes.
More investigation is needed to define which level these profiles should be created. The most interesting case to me is how that could be configurable in a read only group where other collaborators would like to look at someone else data
