Do you think it would be useful to link to https://downloads.openmicroscopy.org/presentations/2020/Dundee/Workshops/NGFF/zarr_diagram/ which attempts to show the various zarr tools in context? Or is that too confusing without some intro text?

Done! I've added a link to the diagram, and expanded the README.
