omero-metadata fails but should be fixed by https://github.com/ome/omero-metadata/pull/20
omero-iviewer fails due to webpack issues independently of this PR
minimal-omero-client has not been updated to support OMERO 5.5 yet

Merging as the impact is minimal (and largely contained) and this is necessary to fix omero-mapr builds.
