@joshmoore: I assume the plain scc tag-release was used without passing the explicit --prefix option in which case the command uses the prefix parsed from the last found tag (see https://github.com/openmicroscopy/snoopycrimecop/pull/159). Does this issue mean it should be preferable to use e.g. v as the default instead?
