GTPU Interface Benchmark #541

Hi,

Please I will like to know how you are benchmarking the performance/throughput of the UPF GTP-U Interface. I noticed that that pfcpsim can be used to create a test session in the UPF but I couldn't find a reference on how to test the GTP-U interface.

Hi @infinitydon! Please check the PTF tests that we developed for BESS-UPF or, if you want to use P4-based UPF, check the fabric-tna repository. For performance testing, you should run line-rate tests.

It should be a good starting point. Please let us know in case of further questions.
