Hosting backup tasks have all stopped running #1142

Hi,

After upgrading the the latest version the Hosting backup tasks have all stopped running.

Hi, please refer to #1141 and #1138 just run backboa install and it will solve.

Thanks for the info, will this work for the Aegir Backup Manager module? As this is whats stopped working.

@chrisarcherhydrant Are other tasks running normally? We don't test Aegir Backup Manager, because we don't use it and we recommend to use BOA own backup methods/tools.

Other tasks seem to be be okay, so are you saying disable it and just use the Amazon backups?

It is worth investigating anyway, but we definitely recommend to use the backboa tool instead, because it manages complete, versioned backups for you, without slowing down sites. Plus, the Aegir backup includes just sites/example.com directory, which is probably not enough as a long term backup, especially since it is stored only locally. It is not a real backup, in fact.
