I see you have no LICENSE file for this project. The default is copyright.

I would suggest released the code under the GPLv3 or AGPLv3 license so that others are encouraged to contribute changes back to your project.

I see you added a LICENSE file! That is great!

In addition to that I would suggest adding a License section to the REAME.md file stating GPLv3 or GPLv3 or later.

Most people only go that far, but if you want to go all the way, the bottom of the GPLv3 license has license headers that can be attached to the beginning of each file that falls under the license.
