Software renderer fixes #244

Currently, software renderer is missing some features that would be nice to have.

Moved to 0.8. This is non-critical, and is only really needed when we start up on the video recording.

Okay. Looks like SDL 2.0.4 is bringing software renderer fixes, so we may be able to use it for our rendering needs. We shall see.
