menu position is very disconcerting during light part of fade animation #286

when you press a direction in the menu, it should probably reset the fade animation to full brightness

This refers to the text color slide animation ? Or something else ?

yeah, talking about the text color. when you move it quickly while the highlight color is faded out you can't see which item you have selected
