Looks like OpenOMF uses only low-pichted sounds as hit sounds, or makes them all of them low-pitched. Anyway, this aspect should be revised too
The sound handling animation tags set the correct frequency when a sound is played. Our current frequency setting is a guess; somebody will have to make it more precise. Currently it is not a priority.
