Gay vs Bi vs Straight Users: We can probably safely assume most users are straight. But, we may quickly end up alienating lot of users who think it's offensive and politically incorrect to assume a random person is straight (even though the % estimate of LGBT people in PA is 2.7%, nationally it is 3.8%). We could either:

A. Ask each user their sexual preferences (easy to do; users probably wouldn't mind putting this data in for an app that is about dating/match making) B. Use something like a friend's list analysis to predict sexuality: http://firstmonday.org/article/view/2611/2302

My vote is for A.

I vote we ask preference. Idk if we will be able to force users to match on preference. If we show two girls and two guys, should we only give the user the option to pick the preferred gender of the first person picked??
