unable to build from command line

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I'm unable to use the last published snapshot in my project, so I downloaded 
the source.
2. Though I'm unable to build the tool on the command line using ant or maven.
3. Importing the project into eclipse and running the sample authentication 
code in eclipse works  
though.

it would be great if you can publish a snapshot that works or update the build 
scripts so people can 
build and use trunk.

The ant build file is fixed in the trunk. I am waiting for a proper version of
signpost to enable maven dependency management. Currently it uses a snapshot 
version.
