I think need to make the slider up to 10 mb. 3 is just too small.
And if it will be option to choose folders it would be useful to choose picture folder where user has lots of pictures from internet in different formats and sizes. Very often they uncompressed.
But high quality photos can be more than 5 mb in compressed jpeg.
At least 6 mb. I just checked my photos from camera and found 20 mb photos, but most of common photos around 3-6 mb. So I prefer to compress only the big ones.
