[Graphic Glitch] - Subtile overlay #437

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Scroll down in-game - graphics in the top half of the screen appear
incorrectly. Lower subtiles cover subtiles above them for whatever reason.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

No graphic glitch, but the graphics do glitch, regardless of resolution.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Windows 7 64-bit
KeeperFX 0.4.5 r1488

Please provide any additional information below.

Refer to attached screenshot. The graphical glitches are surrounded by red
boxes.

As a correction, the subtiles don't cover the subtiles above them, the terrain
of the subtile covers the objects on the same subtile, that are 'above' them.

This only happens in simplified graphics mode, the normal 3D mode has no such
issues.

What is simplified graphics mode?

Is it something that automatically turns on when the level contains many things?

No, I mean the un-rotable mode which you select in graphics options.

Is this fixable or another engine limitation?

This doesn't happen in the original DK or Deeper Dungeons, on my computer.

It is fixable; i just consider it low priority.
