How did you manage to get these comparison screenshots? I'm now wondering if these used to be grey before but got changed in one of the updates. Anyway I'm not sure about making these elements grey as it impacts the functionality of ambient mode for player as you can see on the screenshot where the yellow color overflows to the header:

I managed to get the comparaison by changing the color of the header & sidebar to grey using a style that someone in this github sent me. But it would be cool if changing the color of the header & sidebar between black or grey (on darkmode) was an option in Youtube Redux.

Also yeah it used to be grey before the UI update with rounded corners which also included a black darkmode
