Interesting it seems to have randomly fixed itself. I'll close this for now.

And it has came back.

It fixed itself a few days ago, but it came back today. YouTube can't make up their minds.

UPDATE: YouTube seems to be A/B testing search headers, this is not on the extension. It's on YouTube. (again my alt doesn't have this test)
