cannot get level 9 games to work #75

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. download zip files to mac
2. upload via ftp
3. frotz says unreadable format drat

What is the expected output or behavior?  What do you see instead?

What version of Frotz are you using?
1.0 just downloaded latest

What version of iPhone/iPod Touch OS? (2.0, 2.0.1, 2.0.2)
latest

Please provide any additional information below.
so how do i get level 9 games like red moon to play on frotz itouch? Thanks

I'm afraid Level 9 (A-code) games are not supported.  These games use a 
completely different format than the 
Infocom Z-Machine/Z-code format, which is what Frotz understands.

Drat! Ok thanks for the reply. I assumed they would work because they were 
found in the searchable database. 
It's a shame because they were terrific games :o(
