can't authenticate to truecaller using google/microsoft account #30

Hi!

I've been planning to deprecate this source for a while now, since it's been replaced by "Truecaller App". Hopefully that one should work for you.

Hi, I was trying to use this source because I already have a Truecaller account and TrueCaller App won't work for me, probably because it recognizes the email address I use for Activation. The result is an Activation Failed message at the end of the workflow, after putting in my firstname, lastname and email address.

i have the same issue. the app looks good, but without truecaller login, just can't lookup anything. truecaller apk is useless for sailfish, hence hoping this app to work

Hi, I tried the Truecaller App-source on my Jolla phone (which I'm not using daily any more) and it still works for me.

There is however no kind of input validation during this process, so any input errors will probably result in the activation failing at the end.

If possible, can you do the same activation process in the actual Truecaller App and see if that returns any error message?

May you please give some examples of valid inputs?

I think most input should be valid, but some examples of invalid input might be if you get the SMS code wrong, omit entering first/last name, or having an email with incorrect format.

The actual name or email-address shouldn't matter that much. Try using some made up name or email if the correct one isn't working. If you have non-latin characters in your name or email, try without them and see if that makes a change.

I have always a Failure message, i cannot authenticate. I have repeated the steps many many times, everything is correct. The received code the First name, Last name and email. I'm trying with the google account and with an account that i have made here: https://support.truecaller.com/hc/en-us

I'm not sure which of the both should be the right one.

Could you advice please a little more?

Also, can you add a dialer in the app? it would become the most used app then.
