Painc: runtime error: makeslice: len out of range

Hi Support Team,

I tried to use imposm-0.8.1-linux-x86-64 importing OSM Europe data(20.6GB), it throws an exception with the message "panic: runtime error: makeslice: len out of range".

Environment

• Environment name and version (e.g. PostgreSQL x.y.z with PostGIS a.b.c): PostgreSQL 12; POSTGIS="3.0.1dev r17988" [EXTENSION] PGSQL="120" GEOS="3.8.0-CAPI-1.13.1 " PROJ="Rel. 4.8.0, 6 March 2012" LIBXML="2.9.1" LIBJSON="0.11" LIBPROTOBUF="1.0.2" WAGYU="0.4.3 (Internal)" (core procs from "3.0.0 r17983" need upgrade) TOPOLOGY (topology procs from "3.0.0 r17983" need upgrade)
• Operating System and version: Centos 7.4

@tommyannguyen based on similar issue https://github.com/omniscale/imposm3/issues/196

• check the input file MD5sum value;
  • If the md5sum is different - then the input file is broken and you have to download it again!

For example on the https://download.geofabrik.de/europe.html page you will find the "MD5 sum" for the "europe-latest.osm.pbf" file. ( and here is a md5sum tutorial https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/md5sum-linux-command/ )

so check again the input file!
