Two newsletters I subscribe to require responding to the email to confirm the subscription. I don't believe there's currently a way to do this.

Examples

1) Quastor 2) ByteByteGo

Confirm Your Subscription

Please reply to this email with answers to the following two questions
What kind of engineer are you?
Frontend? Backend? Full Stack? Mobile? Something Else?
What kind of experience do you have?
Student? Junior Dev? Mid-Level? Senior? Engineering Manager? Etc.

Hi, i am pretty sure this is to avoid email providers spam detection, almost definitely with ByteByteGo's regular email, but is this a customized one?

@jacksonh I don't understand your question. I subscribed to both Quastor and ByteByteGo via the Omnivore email address. Then both newsletters sent emails to the Omnivore email inbox similar to the text above, asking me to reply to confirm my subscription. Since I have no way to reply via Omnivore email, I can't subscribe to the newsletters.

Hi, I am pretty sure both of these newsletters are just asking you to reply because it helps them avoid spam filters with email providers. If you click on your subscription preferences with Quastor it should show your subscription as active. With ByteByteGo we have thousands of people subscribing to it without replying.
