This works for me in the latest build (b3, unreleased)... but this is a weird one. I've read that sandboxed login helpers don't show up in the Login Items list. REALLY weird to me, but I'll do more research. Try toggling the option and see if that does anything. :(
Unfortunately, unchecking/checking didn't change the list & another reboot failed to automatically start it again. Might just be me. Wish I had better details for you. Anything I can be specifically looking for?
I'll have to read up on it again to refresh my memory. I'll let you know if I can find any signs that you can keep a look out for.
@toastdriven — Is Shiver in your Applications folder? Seems like Apple'll only allow start-on-login to happen if the app lives there.
Gah, it wasn't (running from ~/Desktop
). Post-placing it in /Applications
, it's working. Sorry for the noise.
I have the checkbox ticked, but post-reboot, Shiver wasn't running & it doesn't appear in the "Login Items" panel in "System Preferences". Am I looking in the wrong place?
